Rudra Tandava is a 2015 Kannada action drama directed by Guru Deshpande, with Chiranjeevi Sarja in the lead, Radhika Kumaraswamy as the heroine and the celebrated playwright and actor Girish Karnad as his father. Its hero appears to be a quiet, timid young man, but when a powerful gangster brings tragedy to his family, both he and his father separately resolve to settle the score, each without the other's knowledge. The film is a remake of the Tamil hit Pandiya Naadu (2013), and its strongest scenes rest on the bond between son and father.
