Run (2016)

A young man has lost his job, married the woman he loves against her father's wishes, and borrowed money from a ruthless moneylender who wants it back by the end of the day. As the hero scrambles across the city to raise the cash, a string of coincidences and bad luck pile up, pulling in a thief, a corrupt cop and assorted strangers whose paths keep crossing his. Run is the Telugu remake of Alphonse Puthren's bilingual hit Neram (2013), and Bobby Simha reprises his role as the moneylender Vatti Raja from the original. It keeps the source's tight, one-day structure and dark humour.
