Ravi is a clever but lazy young man who believes in shortcuts and lucky breaks. One night his sharp observation helps the police foil a massive bank robbery, and the gang's ruthless leader decides to make him pay. What follows is a game of wits and fists between the two, with romance and comedy along the way. Saagasam ("adventure") is the Tamil remake of the Telugu hit Julayi (2012), produced by Prashanth's father, Thiagarajan, as a comeback vehicle for the 1990s star. Thaman reused several of his Julayi tunes for the soundtrack.
