Saawan (2006)

Saawan (also known as Saawan... The Love Season) is a Hindi romantic drama from veteran director Saawan Kumar Tak, maker of Souten and Sanam Bewafa. It follows a young couple played by newcomers Kapil Jhaveri and Saloni Aswani, whose love story is overshadowed by fate, while Salman Khan, a long-time associate of the director, appears in a significant supporting part that was heavily used in the film's publicity. It is a melodramatic, song-filled romance in the director's familiar style.
