Sajna Mangiya Sajai Da Hamar

Sajna Mangiya Sajai Da Hamar ("Beloved, fill the parting of my hair", the bride's plea to be married with sindoor) is a Bhojpuri romantic drama directed by Om Prakash Yadav. Singer-actor Arvind Akela Kallu plays the hero, with Neha Shri as the woman he loves and Archana Singh in a supporting part. In the familiar style of village Bhojpuri cinema, the romance runs into family opposition and local strongmen, and the story moves between love songs, emotional confrontations and action. Kallu's popularity as a folk and film singer means the songs are a large part of the appeal.
