Samajaniki Saval (1979)

Samajaniki Saval ("a challenge to society") is a 1979 Telugu action drama starring Krishna, with Sridevi and Sumalatha as the women in the story. As the title suggests, the hero stands up against injustice and the powerful people who exploit others, in the style of the socially minded action films that made Krishna a star of the 1970s. The songs were composed by K. V. Mahadevan. It comes from the period when the young Sridevi was a leading heroine in Telugu films, before her move to Hindi cinema.
