Sarkar 3 (2017)

Years after losing both his sons, Subhash Nagre, the "Sarkar", still rules Mumbai's politics from his house, but he is older, wearier and surrounded by people waiting for him to fall. His estranged grandson Shivaji returns and asks to join him, carrying old anger over his father's death, while Annu Karkare, the daughter of a man Sarkar's people killed, wants revenge. Outside, a slick politician, Govind Deshpande, and a shadowy businessman, Michael Vallya, plot to destroy Sarkar, and nobody in his circle can be fully trusted. Sarkar 3 is the third chapter of Ram Gopal Varma's Godfather-inspired series after Sarkar (2005) and Sarkar Raj (2008), and the only one without Abhishek Bachchan. Manoj Bajpayee, who first broke through with Varma's Satya, plays the scheming Deshpande.
