Sarphira (1992)

Sarphira ("the reckless one") is an early-1990s action drama built around Sanjay Dutt as a short-tempered young man whose readiness to take on anyone lands him in a running battle with powerful enemies. Madhavi and Kimi Katkar play the women in his life, Vinod Mehra appears in one of his last screen roles before his death in 1990, and Anupam Kher is part of the supporting cast. Expect the staples of the period: family loyalty, a crooked villain, fist-fights and songs.
