Sasural (1984)

Sasural ('the in-laws' home') is a 1984 Hindi family drama directed by Govind Moonis, who had made the much-loved village romance Nadiya Ke Paar (1982) with Sachin and Sadhana Singh. Here Sadhana Singh is paired with Arun Govil a few years before he became a household name as Ram in the television Ramayan. As the title says, it is a gentle, values-driven drama about married life and family relationships, in the wholesome style of the era's family films.
