Bhanu's first marriage, to a man named Rathnavel, ends quickly once she discovers the truth he has hidden from her. She remarries Ravi, a gentle and understanding man, and the two build a happy home. But Rathnavel has not moved on: wounded pride turns into obsession, and he begins to stalk the couple with an increasingly frightening purpose. Vasanth, known for sensitive relationship dramas like Aasai and Rhythm, shifts here into psychological thriller territory, and the film was noted for Nithin Sathya's unsettling turn against his usual friendly image and for Padmapriya's performance. Yuvan Shankar Raja's songs, including "Pesugiren Pesugiren", were popular. It was one of Prithviraj's early Tamil leads.
