Satyabhama is a fearless ACP in Hyderabad, respected and feared in equal measure. When a young woman trapped in an abusive marriage seeks her protection and is murdered anyway, Satyabhama blames herself. Taken off the case, she keeps digging on her own, and the trail leads to a missing young man, a web of lies and a far larger conspiracy than a domestic crime. Her obsession puts pressure on her marriage to a novelist, played by Naveen Chandra, and on her career. Satyabhama is a Telugu investigative thriller built entirely around Kajal Aggarwal, who performs her own share of action in her first full-fledged cop role. Writer-director Sashi Kiran Tikka, known for Goodachari and Major, presented the film and wrote its screenplay.
