Seema Sastri (2007)

Seema Sastri is a Telugu comedy that plays the soft-spoken, priestly Sastri, played by Allari Naresh, against the rough world of Rayalaseema factionists. Sastri falls for a girl from a feuding family, and to win her and stay alive he has to talk, trick and bluff his way through rival gangs who would rather settle things with sickles. The film spoofs the conventions of the faction dramas that dominated Telugu cinema at the time, and it was one of several comedy hits that made Allari Naresh a dependable name in the genre. It was directed by G. Nageswara Reddy, who often worked with him.
