Seetayya (2003)

Seetayya is a powerful, uncompromising figure in his region, a man who settles disputes and protects the weak on his own terms, and is feared by the corrupt. His sense of justice and his refusal to bend bring him into conflict with powerful enemies, while his family life, with the women played by Soundarya and Simran, adds emotion to the story. Y. V. S. Chowdary built the film around Nandamuri Harikrishna, son of N. T. Rama Rao, after his popular role in Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo, and the film's punchline about Seetayya never listening to anyone became widely quoted. M. M. Keeravani composed the music. It is known in Hindi as Ranbhoomi.
