Sevappi (2024)

Sevappi is a small village drama built around a young boy and his beloved red hen, the "sevappi" of the title. Through the child's eyes the film looks at life in rural Tamil Nadu, where everyday quarrels and friendships are still shaped by caste. It is a quiet, rooted social drama rather than a commercial film.
