Description

Shaadi ("marriage") is a 1962 Hindi family drama directed by R. Krishnan and S. Panju, the Madras team who made many successful Tamil and Hindi films. The cast lists Dharmendra, then at the very start of his career, along with Saira Banu and the veteran Balraj Sahni. Detailed information on the story is scarce. It is of interest as an early-career appearance by Dharmendra and as an example of the South-produced Hindi social dramas of the early 1960s.
