Shatamanam Bhavati (2017)

Raghava Raju and his wife Janaki live in a village in the Godavari region, surrounded by fields and memories but missing their children, who have settled abroad and rarely visit. Their nephew Raju, who chose to stay in the village, looks after them. When a ruse brings the scattered family home for the Sankranti festival, old affections and resentments surface, and Raju falls for his cousin Nithya, visiting from America. The film celebrates village life, festivals and family ties, and won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. Released at Sankranti 2017, it was a hit with family audiences.
