Sherlock Holmes OTR - Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce

The Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce radio Holmes, as the Old Time Radio Researchers Group transferred it: 52 surviving broadcasts from the run that began on NBC's Blue network in October 1939 under Grove's Bromo Quinine, moved to Mutual's WOR for Petri Wine in 1943, and was retitled The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. Edith Meiser, who created the series in 1930, wrote the scripts until May 1945; Denis Green and Anthony Boucher wrote the final season. The recordings are off-air transfers of varying quality, most of them good. Forty of the 52 are catalogued here as their own pages, each with its own broadcast date, and each playing its own file rather than letting the Archive choose.
