Shiva and Shruti meet by chance and, as a joke, each pretends to be someone else. When they cross paths again and the truth comes out, a running battle of pranks, pride and wounded egos begins, even as it becomes obvious to everyone around them that they are falling for each other. Shiva Manasulo Shruti is a Telugu remake of the Tamil hit Siva Manasula Sakthi (2009) and keeps its mix of bickering romance and buddy comedy, with Vennela Kishore supplying much of the humour. It was Sudheer Babu's debut as a leading man and one of Regina Cassandra's early Telugu films.
