Shivaay (2016)

Shivaay is a mountaineer and rescue guide in the Himalayas, fearless and free. He falls in love with Olga, a Bulgarian trekker, but she returns home, leaving him to raise their daughter Gaura, who cannot speak. Years later Gaura learns her mother is alive and insists on meeting her, so father and daughter travel to Bulgaria, where Gaura is abducted by a child-trafficking network. In a foreign country, with the police doubtful and the city against him, Shivaay will stop at nothing to bring her back. Ajay Devgn directed, produced and starred, with mountain climbing and snow sequences shot on a scale rarely attempted in Hindi cinema, and major action filmed in Bulgaria. Released at Diwali 2016, it won the National Film Award for Best Special Effects; Mithoon's "Bolo Har Har Har" became a popular anthem.
