Shukriyaa (1989)

Shukriyaa ("thank you") is a late-1980s Hindi film starring Rajiv Kapoor, the youngest son of Raj Kapoor and the star of Ram Teri Ganga Maili, opposite Amrita Singh, who was then one of the leading heroines after Betaab and Mard. It belongs to Rajiv Kapoor's short run as a leading man, before he moved behind the camera to direct Prem Granth. The film is not widely documented and its story details are hard to confirm, so it is best approached as a curiosity for fans of the two leads and of the romantic dramas of the period.
