Silicon City (2017)

Silicon City is a Kannada crime thriller that is a remake of the Tamil film Metro (2016). Srinagar Kitty plays a journalist whose family is shattered by a violent chain-snatching gang operating in Bengaluru, and he sets out to track down the people responsible, only to discover that his younger brother, lured by easy money and an expensive lifestyle, has become part of that world. The film looks at how greed draws young people into crime in a fast-growing city, and its title refers to Bengaluru's reputation as India's tech capital.
