Singam 2 (2013)

Durai Singam appears to have left the police to run the family business, but in truth he is on a secret mission in the port city of Thoothukudi, posing as an NCC teacher at a school while tracking the smuggling of drugs and weapons through the coast. His investigation leads him to two warring local gangs and, behind them, Danny, an international drug lord, played by British actor Danny Sapani. Meanwhile his fiancée Kavya waits for him to settle down, and a schoolgirl, Sathya, develops a crush on him. Hari's sequel to Singam keeps up the breakneck pace, loud action and Suriya's roaring cop persona, and parts of it were shot in South Africa. It was a big hit and was followed by Singam 3 (S3) in 2017.
