Shiva runs a fish business, is hot-tempered but honest, and is devoted to his family. His twin Ashok is a successful criminal lawyer, charming and slippery, who treats women as conquests. The brothers barely tolerate each other. When a young woman's death exposes the damage Ashok's lifestyle has done, Shiva is drawn into the case and the clash between the twins turns serious, with Ashok's legal cleverness up against his brother's sense of justice. Singam Puli gives Jiiva a double role, and Santhanam provides much of the comedy. Mani Sharma composed the songs.
