Singham Returns (2014)

Bajirao Singham has moved from his village to Mumbai, where he is now a senior officer. When one of his trusted constables is found dead in an ambulance full of cash just before an election, Singham begins an investigation that leads to Satyaraj Chander, a powerful godman with links to corrupt politicians, while a respected party leader trying to clean up politics is in danger. Meanwhile his long-time sweetheart Avni waits for him to make time for marriage. The sequel to Singham (2011) is part of Rohit Shetty's cop universe, followed by Simmba, Sooryavanshi and Singham Again. It was one of the biggest Hindi hits of 2014, and Ajay Devgn's roar and the car-flipping action are its trademarks.
