A man grew up as the trusted right hand and closest friend of a wealthy, respected landlord, and their bond is the centre of both families' lives. When a misunderstanding, fed by schemers who want to break the household apart, sets the two men against each other, he leaves, and the families pay the price. Years later the friendship is tested again. Chiranjeevi plays a double role, as the elder loyal friend and his son, in this Telugu remake of K. S. Ravikumar's own Tamil hit Natpukkaga, which the director remade with Telugu's biggest star. Meena plays the heroine. It is an emotional family entertainer about friendship and loyalty, with Chiranjeevi's dances and fights in the mix.
