Soorappa (2000)

Soorappa is a Kannada family and village drama built around Vishnuvardhan, one of the greatest stars of Kannada cinema, as a strong, principled man who stands up for his people and his family. Shruti and Anu Prabhakar play the women in his life, while Charan Raj appears among the antagonists. The film combines rural sentiment, family conflict and action in the style of Vishnuvardhan's later mass films.
