About SRTB Radio Bénin

Radio Bénin is the national radio channel of Benin's state broadcaster, carried on an FM network reaching from Cotonou in the south to Malanville on the Niger border, and also on digital terrestrial channel 21. It is a general-interest service in French built around news bulletins, press reviews and long-form debate, with regular strands on health, the environment, local history and the lives of women in the provinces. The former ORTB was absorbed in November 2023 into a new state company, the Société de Radio et de Télévision du Bénin, which also runs Kiff FM, Radio Bénin Alafia, Radio Parakou and the Bénin TV channels. Recent editions of the station's programmes are published as podcasts on the broadcaster's own site.
