Strangers (2007)

Two Indian men meet on a train in England. One is a struggling writer unhappy in his marriage, the other a successful businessman with troubles of his own. As they talk, they share their grievances about the people making their lives miserable, and the talk drifts towards a dark fantasy: what if two strangers, with no link between them, did each other's dirty work? One of them treats it as a joke; the other may not. The film takes its premise from the classic idea behind Patricia Highsmith's novel and Hitchcock's Strangers on a Train, and plays it as a tense psychological thriller between two ambiguous men. It was filmed in the United Kingdom, and the pairing of Jimmy Shergill and Kay Kay Menon is its main draw.
