Subash Chandra Bose is a 2005 Telugu film directed by K. Raghavendra Rao, starring Venkatesh in a double role, with Genelia D'Souza and Shriya Saran as the heroines. The story moves between the time of British rule and the present day, linking the freedom struggle with the life of its modern hero. It combines patriotic drama with the big songs and colourful romance for which Raghavendra Rao is famous, set to music by Mani Sharma. It is not a biopic of Subhas Chandra Bose; the title signals the freedom-fighter spirit of its hero.
