Sultana Daku (1972)

Sultana Daku was a real dacoit who operated in the forests of the United Provinces in the early 20th century and became a folk legend, celebrated in songs and plays as a Robin Hood who defied the British and the wealthy. This 1972 Hindi film casts Dara Singh as Sultana, with Padma Khanna and Ajit, and tells the legend in the swashbuckling style of the era's action adventures, with horseback raids and fights.
