Super Nani (2014)

Bharti has spent her life serving her husband and children, and in return they treat her like a servant, ignoring her opinions and mocking her old-fashioned ways. When her grandson returns from America and sees how she is treated, he decides to change her life: he gives her a makeover, builds her confidence and launches her as a model, turning the woman nobody noticed into a celebrity. Her family's reaction, and whether success can bring her the respect she wants from them, drive the rest of the story. Super Nani is a family drama directed by Indra Kumar, better known for comedies such as Dhamaal, and it was built around Rekha, who returned to a lead role after a long gap. Sharman Joshi plays the grandson.
