Balu drives a taxi named Supreme in Hyderabad, banters with his father and keeps getting into scrapes with a feisty, clumsy police constable, Bellam Sridevi. His life changes when a little boy comes into his care, and Balu discovers that the child is central to a dispute over a large tract of land held in trust for poor villagers, which powerful men are determined to seize. Protecting the boy becomes a mission. Anil Ravipudi's second film after Pataas mixes comedy, sentiment and action, and Raashi Khanna's comic cop became one of the film's most popular elements. It was a commercial success.
