Swarg Se Sunder (1986)

Swarg Se Sunder ("more beautiful than heaven") is a 1986 Hindi family drama, a genre in which director K. Bapaiah specialised, many of them made with Jeetendra and adapted from South Indian hits. Jeetendra and Mithun Chakraborty play brothers in a loving household that is pulled apart when doubts are planted about a wife's character and a child is lost, setting family members against each other. The film follows the decade's tradition of tear-jerking family sagas, with songs, emotion and some action, as the family struggles to win back the harmony of the title. Jaya Prada and Padmini Kolhapure play the heroines.
