Professor Tagore is admired by his students as a gentle teacher, but behind the scenes he leads the Anti-Corruption Force, a hidden network of young people who identify the most corrupt official in each department and execute him, sparing the rest with a warning. As panic spreads through government offices, a sharp police officer begins to close in, and a flashback reveals the personal tragedy at the hands of a ruthless builder that set Tagore on this path. The film is a Telugu remake of A. R. Murugadoss's Tamil hit Ramanaa (2002) and was one of Chiranjeevi's biggest hits of the decade. Its scene exposing a private hospital that treats a dead body to extract fees became widely talked about and was repeated in the Hindi remake Gabbar Is Back.
