Tajurba (1981)

Tajurba ("experience") is a 1981 Hindi drama directed by Nikhil Saini, with an unusually strong cast for a modest film: Raj Babbar, Smita Patil and Naseeruddin Shah, all associated with the new wave of Indian cinema at the time, along with Shakti Kapoor and Mazhar Khan. The story deals with the hard lessons life teaches its characters, mixing social drama with confrontation and some action. It is of interest mainly for the chance to see these actors together early in their careers.
