Taarakaasura (named after a demon of Hindu mythology) is a Kannada action drama directed by Chandrashekar Bandiyappa, with newcomer Vaibhav in the lead and Manvitha Harish, of Kendasampige, as the heroine. It combines romance with conflict and action. An unusual piece of casting is the British actor Danny Sapani, who had earlier played the villain in Singam 2, as the antagonist. The film had a modest release and is not widely documented, so it is best approached as an ambitious mid-budget Kannada film of 2018.
