Temper (2015)

Daya grew up an orphan, learned that money and power are all that matter, and joined the police only for the bribes. Posted to Visakhapatnam, he becomes the willing ally of the crime lord Waltair Vasu, until a young woman Daya cares about and a brutal crime against another girl make him rethink everything he stands for. Puri Jagannadh's film was a turning point for Jr. NTR, whose ferocious performance as the swaggering anti-hero was widely praised, and for Posani Krishna Murali, whose honest constable became one of its most loved characters. The film was remade in Hindi as Simmba (2018), with Ranveer Singh, and in Tamil as Ayogya.
