Tera Jadoo Chal Gayaa (2000)

Tera Jadoo Chal Gayaa ("your magic has worked") was released in 2000, the same year as Abhishek Bachchan's debut in Refugee, making it his second film. He plays a carefree young man in a romance opposite Kirti Reddy, a South Indian actress who appeared in a handful of Hindi films. The music is by Ismail Darbar, then fresh from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. The film was a commercial failure and is mainly remembered as part of Abhishek's difficult early years, before Yuva and Dhoom turned his career around, but it has the easy charm of a turn-of-the-millennium romance.
