Tezz (2012)

Aakash Rana was a hard-working Indian immigrant in Britain until an unjust deportation wrecked his life. Now he has planted a bomb aboard a train running from London to Glasgow, rigged to explode if the train drops below a certain speed, and he demands a ransom. As the train races north with hundreds of passengers aboard, a determined anti-terror officer played by Anil Kapoor tries to track Aakash and his accomplices, while railway control works frantically to keep the train moving. Tezz is Priyadarshan's rare straight action thriller, inspired by the 1975 Japanese film The Bullet Train, which also inspired Speed. It was shot largely in the United Kingdom, and Sameera Reddy's song "Laila" was one of its talking points. Mohanlal appears in a small role.
