The Lady Killer (2023)

The Lady Killer is a neo-noir thriller set in the hills of north India, where a playboy with a reputation as a lady-killer becomes involved with an enigmatic woman whose past soon catches up with them both. Their passionate affair slides into deception and possibly murder. Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar lead, under Ajay Bahl, the director of the courtroom drama Section 375. The film became notorious for its release in November 2023, when it reached cinemas in an unfinished state after production troubles, with scenes missing, and drew some of the smallest box-office returns ever recorded for a major Hindi release.
