The Signature (2024)

Arvind, a retired man, and his wife have finally planned the holiday they always postponed, but at the airport she collapses and is rushed to hospital, where she is put on life support. As days turn into weeks, the bills mount, the family is divided over what to do, and doctors ask Arvind to consider signing the papers that would let her go. Refusing to give up, he sets out to raise the money himself, discovering along the way who truly stands by him. The film is a Hindi remake by Gajendra Ahire of his own Marathi film Anumati (2013). It rests on a quiet, deeply felt performance by Anupam Kher, with Neena Kulkarni as his wife and Mahima Chaudhry and Annu Kapoor in support.
