The Thriller (2010)

Prithviraj plays Niranjan, a no-nonsense police officer brought in to investigate the killing of a prominent businessman with links to the underworld. As he digs in, the case leads into a web of smuggling, real-estate crime and political protection, and the officer's methods begin to make powerful enemies. The Thriller is a slick crime investigation drama from B. Unnikrishnan, the director of Madampi and later Mr. Fraud. It is also notable as the film debut of Catherine Tresa, who went on to work across South Indian cinema.
