Tirupathi Express (2014)

Tirupathi Express is a 2014 Kannada comedy, a remake of the Telugu hit Venkatadri Express (2013). Sumanth Shailendra plays a carefree young man from a strict family who must travel with his relatives by train, and his failure to stay on board sets off a frantic, comic race to rejoin them, in which he is helped and hindered by a young woman played by Kriti Kharbanda. The film keeps the original's light, road-movie structure and character comedy. It is an easy, family-friendly watch.
