Aditya is a movie action hero whose stunts are all faked. One day the animated citizens of Toonpur, a cartoon land, pull him into their world, convinced he is a real superhero who can defeat their enemies, the wicked Toonasurs. Stuck among talking cartoons with no stunt doubles, Aditya must find genuine courage, while his family in the real world faces trouble of its own. Toonpur Ka Superhero was promoted as India's first feature to combine live action with animation on this scale, with Ajay Devgn sharing the screen with dozens of animated characters and Kajol playing his wife, as she is in real life. It was made squarely for children and families.
