Treasure Inn (2011)

A wanted swordsman, a scheming innkeeper, a rough constable and assorted fighters and thieves all arrive at a remote inn with the same goal: a legendary treasure, which is said to be hidden there. Alliances form and collapse as the guests battle, trick and double-cross one another, and the plot to claim the prize becomes a struggle against a far more dangerous enemy. Treasure Inn is a wuxia action comedy written and directed by prolific Hong Kong filmmaker Wong Jing, with Nicholas Tse, Nick Cheung and Charlene Choi. It plays as a light-hearted romp on the classic inn-of-intrigue setting of Chinese swordplay films, with wire-work fights and slapstick.
