Trinetrudu (1988)

Trinetrudu ("the three-eyed one", a name of Lord Shiva) is a Telugu action film from 1988, part of the long and successful partnership between Chiranjeevi and director A. Kodandarami Reddy that produced many of the star's biggest commercial films. Chiranjeevi plays a hero who uses courage, cunning and his fists against powerful criminals, with Bhanupriya as the heroine. It has the dance numbers, fights and dramatic set-pieces that made Chiranjeevi the leading mass hero of Telugu cinema in that decade.
