Ulkuthu (2017)

A soft-spoken young man arrives in a fishing village on the southern coast near Kanyakumari and befriends the locals, finding romance along the way. Life seems simple, until it becomes clear that the newcomer is connected to the violent men who rule the area and has a score to settle. Ulkuthu ("inner stab") is a Tamil revenge drama starring Dinesh, known as Attakathi Dinesh after his breakthrough film, with Nandita Swetha and comedian Bala Saravanan. The seaside setting and the slow reveal of its hero's motive are its main strengths.
