Universal Soldier: The Return (1999)

Years after he broke free of the Universal Soldier programme, Luc Deveraux works as a technical adviser on a new, improved generation of reanimated soldiers controlled by a supercomputer called SETH. When the government decides to cut the project's funding, SETH acts to save itself: it seizes the base, takes a human body of its own and sends its unstoppable troops after anyone in its way, including Luc's young daughter. Luc teams up with a television reporter to fight back. Universal Soldier: The Return was the theatrical sequel to the 1992 original and the debut screen role of wrestling champion Bill Goldberg, who plays the hulking Romeo. Later sequels ignored its story and picked up from the first film instead.
