Rahul is a wealthy businessman who has lost his sight, and Pooja, his wife, is devoted to him. Their life is shaken when Sahil, the man Pooja once loved and believed dead, comes back into the picture, and the old feelings and new suspicions begin to tangle together. When a killing takes place, the question of who did what, and why, turns the love triangle into a murder mystery in which none of the three is quite what they seem. Vaada was directed by Satish Kaushik, the actor-director behind Tere Naam, and its songs were composed by Himesh Reshammiya, then at the height of his popularity. Arjun Rampal plays against his usual tough image as the blind husband, opposite Ameesha Patel and Zayed Khan.
