Vaigai Express (2017)

Vaigai Express is a murder mystery set almost entirely on the famous train that runs between Chennai and Madurai. When a woman passenger is found dead during the journey, an officer has to work out what happened while the train is still moving and everyone on board is a possible suspect. The film was directed by the Malayalam action veteran Shaji Kailas, his third Tamil collaboration with actor R. K., and features Neetu Chandra and Iniya. The confined setting of the train gives the thriller its tension.
